Los Angeles is a photo op paradise. There's so many parks, wall murals, overlooks, attractions, and just about everything instagrammable. The famous "secret" swing is one of the best insta-worthy locations in DTLA and here's what you need to know to get there.
So where is it?
The secret swing is located at Elysian Park in DTLA, only a 5 min drive from the Dodgers Stadium.
Parking is free right next to the trailhead, which has no signs, but you will most likely know that you are in the right place when you see a few cars parked by the overlook in the intersection of Angels Point Dr and Park Row Dr.
Yes, the secret swing is not that much of a secret.
When you are ready to go, simply click here for Google maps directions all the way to the trailhead. From there, it is a super short 5min hike up a very, very steep trail. Wear sturdy shoes. It's hard going up and even harder going down.
Once you get there, swing and enjoy the beautiful views of Downtown LA!
